by this time tomorrow, you’ll have a real number and a plan for episode one.

Tell us about your show and we’ll reply the next business day with a price, a turnaround, and an honest read on your raw audio. If your recording needs rescuing, or can’t be rescued, you’ll hear that first, before anything gets invoiced.

Here’s the actual sequence, including the part where we might tell you not to hire us yet.

  1. next business day

    a reply with a number

We listen to the sample you sent or the description you gave and write back with a price, a turnaround, and anything about the audio that worries us.

  2. you approve

    send the files

One track per speaker, WAV if you have it. Nothing is invoiced yet. The three-business-day clock starts when the complete files land.

  3. day three

Finished audio, show notes, and two rounds of fixes included. Hear a cough we missed? We’ll fix it for free.

what to have ready

  1. Raw files, one track per speakerWAV if you have it. Not a screen-recording of a Zoom call, please.
  2. One episode you wish yours sounded likeA link is plenty. It saves us two rounds of guessing.
  3. Names and odd wordsGuest names, brand names, anything we’d otherwise misspell in your show notes.
  4. Intro and outro music, with the licenseWe won’t guess about rights. Neither should you.

before you write

Do I need to have recorded everything first?

For a single episode or a batch, you just need those files. For the season launch, yes: we need the whole season recorded before we start, because the price is fixed to a fixed scope.

What if my audio is rough?

Send a two-minute sample with your message. We can fix hum, hiss, room echo, and wobbly levels. We can’t fix a guest recorded through a laptop speaker across a cafe, and we’ll say so in our first reply.

Can I just call instead?

Please do. (516) 668-7815, weekdays 11am to 7pm. You’ll get a rough number on the phone and a written one by email.
